The Chigee SR-1 is a motorcycle-specific, automotive-grade 77GHz millimeter-wave radar designed to enhance awareness on every ride. Featuring four active warning modes and a detection range of up to 70 meters, it continuously monitors what’s happening behind you — even in rain, fog, or low-light conditions — so you can stay focused ahead with greater confidence.

Rather than adapting a car-based system, the SR-1 is purpose-built for motorcycles and how riders move through traffic. It goes beyond simple rear detection by delivering earlier and more relevant alerts for blind-spot vehicles, lane changes, overtakes, and fast-approaching traffic from behind.

More than just notifying the rider, the SR-1 can also activate a rear warning light, helping alert approaching drivers to your presence sooner. The result is a radar system engineered not only to detect vehicles, but to respond more naturally to real-world riding conditions.

Blind Spot Detection (BSD)

Stay aware of vehicles hidden in your blind spot before you move over.

Once you’re traveling above 10 km/h, the SR-1 automatically keeps watch over the areas beside and behind your motorcycle. If a vehicle enters the blind spot, the system delivers both visual and audible alerts, giving you earlier awareness of nearby traffic when changing lanes or riding in heavy traffic conditions.

The Chigee SR-1 is designed as a fully capable, self-contained safety system that can operate effectively on its own, even without any future updates or enhancements.

Pairs with Compatible CHIGEE Smart Riding Systems

When connected to a compatible CHIGEE display, the SR-1 can show radar information in real time, adding another layer of situational awareness beyond the warning lights.

Active Overtake Alert (AOA)

Be aware of approaching traffic before returning to your lane after an overtake.

After you pass a vehicle, the SR-1 reassesses the lane before you merge back. If another vehicle is closing in from behind or still occupying your blind spot, the system provides a timely warning, helping you return to your lane with greater safety and confidence.

Lane Change Assist (LCA)

Get real-time lane change alerts that adapt to your speed and surrounding traffic conditions.

The SR-1 dynamically adjusts warning timing based on your riding speed and the relative speed of nearby vehicles. At higher speeds, alerts are triggered earlier to give you more time to react. In slower traffic, unnecessary notifications are minimized, keeping the system helpful without becoming distracting.

Rear Collision Warning (RCW)

Get alerted earlier when a vehicle is rapidly approaching from behind.

When the SR-1 detects a potential rear-end collision risk, it immediately issues a warning. This gives you more time to stay aware, maintain stability, and prepare for a fast-closing vehicle. Warning sensitivity can also be adjusted to better suit different traffic environments and individual rider preferences.

Warn Yourself — And Warn the Vehicle Behind You

Most blind-spot systems only notify the rider. The SR-1 goes further by adding an integrated high-brightness strobe light directly into the radar module. When a vehicle is detected rapidly closing in from behind, the light flashes automatically, helping alert the approaching driver before a potential collision develops.

Especially effective at night or in low-visibility conditions, this feature transforms the SR-1 from a passive detection system into an active safety device designed for real-world riding.
